Small Talk — 3d-animated pilot & app

Small Talk is a 3D-animated series and an inspired ASL learning App. The pilot follows a young middle schooler, Maisy, who has grown up in a hard-of-hearing family, specifically with her brother and mother. This series introduces many endearing characters and explores the challenges families face, what it takes to be a friend, and how creating community is essential!

Tea leaves last — animated series pilot

This project was developed during an intensive, eight-month immersive pipeline that mirrored a traditional studio environment to produce a 44-minute pilot animatic. The story follows Mya, a young outsider who leaves her historic family farm to revitalize forgotten ceremonial tea magic and fight back against an encroaching colonizing force.
‘Miss Saigon’ (Personal Project, 2023)
1970s Saigon, Vietnam- after making a strong connection with a soldier, Kim builds up the courage to search to find him again.
Reworking the stage musical ‘Miss Saigon’ as if it were to be made as an animated feature.

‘Kilig!’ (Thesis Project, 2022)
A young Filipino-American girl and her mother visit her mother’s hometown in Palawan, Philippines, and let each other into their worlds. She finds out that there is magic in the islands!
Kilig is a word in Tagalog that describes a feeling of exhilaration or elation caused by an exciting or romantic experience, and also the title of my Thesis film!
